What does the Statler Dallas, Texas Curio Collection by Hilton Offer?

WHAT'S THE BASICS?
The Statler Dallas Texas Curio Collection by Hilton is located at 1914 Commerce Street in downtown Dallas, Texas. The hotel was built in 1956. It's modern and renovated vintage-chic rooms offer sofas and city views. On site you will find a modern diner, a steakhouse with romantic ambience, and an eatery that offers bowling and live music.
WHAT WAS THE FIRST IMPRESSION?
Immediately upon arrival, my husband and I were met with smiling faces. The Statler is a well oiled machine. There were several attendants, valet, and doorman surrounding the valet driveway. We were greeted professionally and the doorman ushered us through the hotel's door. After checking in, we were given a poker chip that could be cashed in for a free beverage (alcoholic or non-alcoholic).
The Statler Hilton Hotel is full of many activities for hotel guests with a pool, bowling alley, speakeasy, and more.
DID YOU LIKE THE HOTEL ROOM?
My favorite attributes about the rooms were the plush robes, free standing soaking tub, and spacious showers. Each room is equipped with an smart control pad that allows guest to adjust the lights, control the curtains, and the temperature all at the same time!
NOW WHAT ABOUT THE FOOD?
The hotel's casual restaurant option, the Scout, offers classic American cuisine. We've had the pleasure of ordering their wings, chicken tenders, and Cajun pasta. Though Texas is our next door neighbor, in Louisiana we are more accustomed to pre-seasoned entrees. We noticed the Statler leaves room for the guest to season the food to their liking--which makes a bit of sense when ordering room service, so it didn't bother us much. There is also a quick bites and breakfast cafe, Overeasy. We would wake up the majority of our mornings and grab an omelet or chicken and waffles. The Scout and Overeasy are just scraping the surface of the unique cuisine that is offered at the Statler. Try the Bourbon and Banter or even the rooftop bar and restaurant, Waterproof, and indulge in a culinary adventure like no other. Let me know what you think!
WHAT'S THE FINAL VERDICT?
Considering the room service, staff professionalism, cuisine, and hotel accommodations I would rate the Statler a whopping four out of five stars! Book your stay at The Statler and treat yourself to a trip of pure luxury. Unwind in opulent surroundings, savor gourmet cuisine, and experience the epitome of relaxation and indulgence. Your journey to ultimate comfort and extravagance begins here!
